I was lucky enough to grow up in a family of dogs. My mom was a dog groomer when I was young, and it introduced me to a wide range of breeds. I went to dog shows throughout my childhood and it was something that I really enjoyed. I was deeply entrenched in the purebred dog world by the time I became an adult, but also became passionate about rescue dogs. As an adult, I have adopted many dogs, and purchased two.

I began training my own dogs in 2003 when I got my first Rottweiler puppy.  I adopted my first competition prospect, Lucy, in 2005 and in 2007, we began competing in agility together. Moving to Arizona in 2009, opened up opportunities to try different sports and expand my knowledge. I have trained my own dogs in rally obedience, conformation, scent work, barn hunt, and dock diving. I took a lifetime of knowledge and began working with families and their puppies in 2022, through my business, Puppy-K All Day.

When the world shut down due to the pandemic in 2020, Kristi and I started falling down a dog training podcast rabbit hole. We found ourselves discussing all types of subjects related to dogs in general, and having to plan get togethers so we could discuss some subjects in person, because we had so many "big feelings" about different ideas. Our worlds were broadened and the way we lived with our dogs was forever changed for the better. Those discussions became the foundation for this podcast. We hope you enjoy listening to us as much as we have enjoyed listening to all of our favorite podcasts over the years.
